2. Nature of Service

Barossa Connect is an on-demand delivery platform that facilitates pickup and delivery of items pre-purchased by customers directly from third-party retailers, restaurants, or online stores.

We do not sell, supply, or purchase any goods on behalf of users. We are not affiliated or partnered with any brand or store unless explicitly stated.

3. Booking and Use of Service

You must provide accurate booking details, including order numbers, pickup addresses, and delivery instructions.

• All items must be lawfully purchased.
• Items must comply with Australian regulations.
• Couriers will collect and deliver according to booking details.

4. Service Availability

We aim to provide timely service but do not guarantee availability, specific delivery times, or uninterrupted access to the App.

Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or other conditions beyond our control.

5. Fees and Payment

Service charges are displayed before confirming your booking.

• Payments must be made through approved payment methods.
• Fees become non-refundable once delivery has started.
• Refunds may apply where required under Australian law.

6. Your Responsibilities

• You must be 18 years or older.
• You must not send illegal or dangerous items.
• You must provide accurate address and contact details.
• You are responsible for ensuring delivery acceptance.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:

• Barossa Connect is not responsible for the quality, legality, or condition of goods being delivered.
• Liability is limited to resupply of delivery services or refund of service fees under Australian Consumer Law.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or missed deadlines.

8. Damaged or Missing Items

• Notify us within 24 hours of delivery completion.
• We may investigate and provide partial/full service fee refunds.
• We are not liable for improper packaging or store-related damage.

9. Prohibited Items

You may not use our Service to deliver:

• Cash, alcohol, tobacco, or controlled substances.
• Hazardous, flammable, or illegal materials.
• Perishable food requiring refrigeration.
• Jewellery, precious metals, or confidential documents.

10. Privacy

We respect your privacy and handle personal information according to the Australian Privacy Principles.

Your information is only used to manage deliveries and improve our Service.

11. Termination or Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if:

• You breach these Terms.
• You engage in fraud, misuse, or unlawful activity.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available in the App.

Continued use of the Service means you accept updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, and disputes will be subject to Australian courts.
